Minister of State Seán Kyne visits Inland Fisheries Ireland in Citywest
Inland Fisheries Ireland this week welcomed Minister Seán Kyne to its offices at Citywest.
The Minister attended a high-level meeting with Inland Fisheries Ireland CEO, Dr Ciaran Byrne, and Chairperson, Fintan Gorman, during his visit and also talked with members of staff, hearing about their individual areas of responsibility within the organisation.
Minister Kyne said: “I welcome the opportunity to meet management and staff involved in protection, development and research and acknowledge the excellent work being undertaken across all areas. I availed of the opportunity to discuss some of the pressing issues in the inland fisheries sector with senior managers in Inland Fisheries Ireland and, particularly, assistance available to stakeholders via the current round of funding”.

Dr Byrne thanked Minister Kyne for his continued support to Inland Fisheries Ireland and the development of the important inland fisheries and sea angling sector.
